WM: Discuss briefly about finding love, again?

Christina Johnson: It is important as women that we love who we are first, and learn to appreciate ourselves. Ultimately, God will send you exactly what you need, he will send you what you did not know you needed, exactly at the right time.

During our interview, we talked briefly about Johnson’s business, InnerPiece Designs (IPD), a progressive interior design and consultancy firm. Johnson’s company is known for its minimalistic approach to design by combining natural and organic materials with modern pieces that visually harmonize with the high-end residential properties and commercial spaces they work with. IPD’s global clientele extends from superstar entertainers such as Cee-Lo, Ludacris and Young Jeezy, to athletes, urbanites and business professionals. Johnson’s work has appeared on national TV programming like MTV, as well as in between the pages of Ebony, VIBE, Atlanta Peach and Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles where she was featured in the Top 10 Under 40 issue.

WM: So tell us, what inspired your latest business venture, BFly Effect Coaching?

Christina Johnson: I love what I do, I love being of service to others, which is why I created BFly Coaching, I am really walking in my element.

WM: How do you as a Working-Mom maintain Work-Life-Balance?

Christina Johnson: It is all about prioritizing, and trying to keep things as consistent as you can because children thrive off consistency.
